Where did you begin your career?
I graduated from BU grad school with an MBA and joined Arthur Andersen& Co. I became their advertising industry expert for the Boston Office. I worked there as a CPA for 3 1/2 years and was hired away by one of my clients.
Where have you worked?
I left AA & Co. to become CFO of Harold Cabot & Co.,Inc. New England's oldest and most profitable Ad Agency. 13 yrs later as largest shareholder I merged Cabot into Arnold Fortuna & Lane to become the second largest shareholder in and CFO of Arnold, Fortuna, Lawner & Cabot. New England's largest agency. In 1992 we sold AFL & C to Snyder Communications and in 2005 they sold us to Charles Havas Advertising, a French advertising holding company. I took my staff and formed CFK & Associates which is New England's largest accounting firm which specializes in the advertising industry.
Where can you be found when not working?
Nirvana. My 81' 1982 P&J aluminum maxi sail boat. Summers in Marblehead and winters somewhere warm.
